College: Govs best interior lineman returns as  starter for fourth straight season...candidate for OVC post-season honors...has improved strength and speed in offseason...hard worker on defensive line will take over even greater leadership role on defense in 2009...recorded  line-best 37 tackles from nose tackle...also made four tackles for loss, totaling 18 yards, including one sack for seven yards...had four quarterback hurries...had six games with at least four tackles...pulled down three solo stops in season-opener at North Dakota State, including one tackle for loss... had four tackles in back-to-back games against UT Martin and Eastern Kentucky...had a season-best seven tackles against Murray State...recorded his season’s only sack, to go along with three tackles, at Jacksonville State...in 2007, active defender ranked sixth on team in tackles...had four games with five tackles or more...finished season with terrific performance at Murray State, garnering career-best 11 stops, including 10 solo stops...also had two of his four sacks in finale...forced two fumbles...had three solo stops at Samford, including sack at Samford...also recorded sack at Indiana State...moved into Govs lineup during 2006 preseason camp and proceeded to start all 11 contests...led all Govs linemen in tackles with 42...also had 6.5 tackles for loss, including quarterback sack...recorded season-best seven stops against UT Martin...had season-high four solo stops against Morehead State...had three quarterback hurries and sack at Cumberland...transferred to APSU after playing one season at Fork Union Military Academy...High School: Played linebacker, defensive end and fullback for Graham Clark at Dobyns Bennett High School...earned honorable mention all-state as senior....also was first-team All-East...Defensive Player of the Year in conference as prep senior linebacker, recording120 tackles, grabbing  two interceptions and collecting five sacks...Personal: Health and human performance teaching major...member of Athletics Director’s Honor Roll last fall...son of Rocky and Lisa Peeler...born May 1, 1987...age 22.
