Looking Ahead for 2009-10: Walk-on post player will attempt to bounce back from offseason knee injury…will continue rehabilitation during campaign’s early portion…redshirted in 2008-09 after earning spot as walk on...brings size and strength to floor...will continue work on improving basketball skills...also will work to improve footwork in lowpost.

As freshman redshirt in 2008-09: Used freshman season to work on improving basketball fundamentals as well as learning college game...suffered torn anterior cruciate ligament in early February...underwent offseason surgery.

In high school:  Played forward for Delray Brooks at La Lumiere School in LaPorte, Ind...his high school coach was the same Delray Brooks who played at Providence against the Governors in the 1987 NCAA tournament...Ross earned significant Athletic Contribution Award as senior.

Personal:  Plans to major in business…two-time member of Athletics Director’s Honor Roll…member of Dean’s List in Fall 2008…also member of 2008-09 OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll…inducted into Alpha Lambda Delta honor society…son of Don and Shirley Ross...born April 4, 1989...age 20.
