
Austin Peay basketball has been cornerstone of Lady Govs and
Govs athletics for decades. The Lady Govs are coached by APSU alum Carrie Daniels,
while the Govs are led by coach Dave Loos, the OVC's All-Time Wins Leader. All
Austin Peay home games are played on Dave Loos Court at Dave Aaron Arena in the
Dunn Center. Austin Peay students receive FREE ADMISSION to all regular-season
home games, with student seating opposite the benches in sections A, B, C, E.

The Red Coat Society is a Hall of Fame for service to APSU athletics.
The society was established in 2004 to honor those individuals who have
provided long-time support to the Govs and Lady Govs. There are currently 22
members and a few more will be added this night. Be there to see who it is.

Black-Out Shirts for
Students
Student Life and Leadership, along with Student Affairs, has sponsored 500
Black-Out Coming Home shirts to be distributed to students at the game. Be
there early to get your color-coded shirt coupon - shirts will be handed out,
according to the color priority of your coupon, during the game.
Beat the Colonels
with Coats
Help the less fortunate during the winter season by donating a jacket in
the Govs-Colonels Coat Drive competition. The school who gets the most coats
donated during the week of the game will be announced at halftime.
Take a Kid to the Game
Take a Kid to the Game is an NCAA sponsored event, encouraging adults to bring
out the kids to enjoy Austin Peay basketball. All kids, 12-years-old and under,
earn free admission to the game and a chance to participate as ball kids. They
also can be a part of the tunnel, welcoming the Govs and Lady Govs to the
floor. Come be a part of the action!

"Coming Home"
White-Out
For this rematch of the 2009 OVC Tournament Championship game, wear white
and help blot out the Dunn Center. The Governors Organization Council will pass
out 200 white megaphones for students during the game, 100 before the women's
game and 100 before the men's game.

Night
An opportunity to honor those who keep lives safe in Clarksville, Guns and
Hoses Night offers free admission to local police officers, firefighters, EMTs
and their families. All you have to do is show your official identification at
the ticket window.

Hall of Fame Night
The 9 a.m., breakfast induction ceremonies in the Dunn Center's front
lobby will see the APSU Athletic Hall of Fame grow to 94. The newest
inductees and their families also will be honored during halftime
ceremonies of the 7:30 p.m. APSU men's basketball contest. The induction was previously scheduled for the Govs, Jan. 30, contest with Morehead State, but was postponed due to inclement weather.
Dave Loos Appreciation Night
Don't miss this presentation to the OVC's All-Time Winningest Coach.
Immediately following the women's game, Coach Loos will be recognized for this
career achievement. Don't want to spoil the surprise, but it will be worth it
to be there.
Senior Night
Join us as we honor the seniors on both the Govs and Lady Govs in between
the game. The Lady Govs have one senior - Nicole Jamen - while the Govs have
two - Wesley Channels and Ernest Fields. Be there to send these fine
student-athletes out with a bang!
