CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- Let youth be served.
Freshman guard Justin Blake converted on five of seven three-point shots while sophomore center John Fraley added 10 points to lead the Black team to a 34-31 win over the White team during Reigning Red scrimmage, Friday night in the Dunn Center.
Blake, the freshman from Dyersburg, hit his first four three-point attempts before finally missing to finish with 15 points. Fraley converted five-of-six shots for his 10-point effort.
For the White team a pair of freshmen led the way. Guard Eric Mosley (Louisville, Ky.) scored 15 points, incouding three-of-five from three-point range, while 6-5 forward Chris Reaves added 10, including a pair of three pointers.
With Reigning Red out of the way, the Govs will begin in earnest with practice officially beginning 8 a.m.
