Clarksville, Tenn. – Senior Anthony Bradley, of Austin Peay State University men’s golf team, has been named the Copies in a Flash APSU Athlete of the Week.
Bradley finished tied for eighth at the Cardinal Intercollegiate, held at The Cardinal Club in Simpsonville, Ky., earning a share of the adidas® Ohio Valley Conference Co-Golfer of the Week honor for the second week in a row; he shared the award with Murray State’s Jordan Smith, who also tied for eighth in the Louisville event.
The Englishman shot an even-par 216 (72-70-74) to lead the Govs to a third-place finish in their second fall event.
The Copies in a Flash APSU Athlete of the Week is selected by the APSU Sports Information staff each Tuesday during the academic year. Copies in a Flash, of Clarksville, sponsors the award.
Other notable performances by Austin Peay athletes included:
- Junior midfielder Frankie Carbajal, of the women’s soccer team, was named a College Soccer 360 Primetime Performer of the Week turning her first career goal into the game winner in Austin Peay’s victory against defending OVC champion UT Martin in Friday’s conference opener.
- Senior middle blocker Liz Landon, of the volleyball team, recorded 27 kills in two OVC matches for the Lady Govs, including a career-high 14 at Jacksonville State and a team-best 13 in Austin Peay’s four-set win against Tennessee Tech.
- Senior forward Tatiana Ariza, of the women’s soccer team, scored a goal against both UT Martin and Southeast Missouri, earning her Tennessee Sportswriters Association Player of the Week honors.
