At The Peay, we kick off every home football game with food, fun and fans in Tailgate Alley!

WHERE: Summer Street parking lot, next to Governors Stadium

WHEN: Four hours before every home game

COST: Free!!

PARKING: Reserve a slot in Tailgate Alley or set up in nearby general parking.

We want you to have a fun, safe game day experience. To ensure your safety and preserve the beauty of our campus, please read our tailgating guidelines.

If you tailgate in Tailgate Alley, you’ll be front and center when the football team makes its way to the stadium. The Alley includes three rows of parking spaces. To reserve a space in the Alley, fill out the Tailgate Alley Parking Registration form and return it to us.

You don’t need a reservation to tailgate in the nearby “Home” parking spaces. To see which spaces are included, view the Tailgate Alley map.

Food

Bring your cooler, grill and non-alcoholic beverages! All we ask is that you safely operate your grill, properly store flammable liquids and clean up your area.

$50 for Student Organizations

The first 10 student organizations to register for a Tailgate Alley parking slot will be eligible to receive $50. To receive the award, organization members must participate in the tailgate party on game day.

Registrations will be accepted in person at the Athletics Ticket Office (Dunn Center, Room 141) starting at 8 a.m. on Monday of game week. To participate, the organization must be registered as an APSU student organization through the Office of Student Life and Engagement.
