CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Austin Peay State University women’s tennis team picked up two vital victories against Tennessee State, Saturday, defeating the Tigers 4-0 (non-conference) and 6-1 at the Austin Peay Tennis Courts.
Austin Peay (8-11, 4-4 OVC) evened its record to remain in the hunt for an Ohio Valley Conference Tournament berth. The Tigers of Tennessee State fall to 0-10 (0-7 OVC).
In Saturday morning non-conference action, Alison Carre and Andra Cornea took the top two singles matches, both winning 6-0, 6-0, while Jovana Karac was challenged at No. 3 before winning 6-3, 4-1.
