HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Austin Peay State University men's tennis team made it six straight wins, downing host Northern Kentucky 5-2 at the Joyce Yeager Tennis Center, Saturday.

Austin Peay (6-2), which hasn't lost since Feb. 2 against Southern Illinois, made easy work of the Norsemen. The Govs swept the doubles point and took the top four singles matches to upend Northern Kentucky (2-6).

Senior Sean Bailey cruised through Saturday's matches, easily dispatching Northern Kentucky's Guillaume Berman 6-2, 6-1 in No. 1 singles. He teamed with junior Jasmin Ademovic to knock off Berman and Andre Correa, 8-4.

Sophomores Dimitar Ristovski and Aleksas Tverijonas continued their winning ways, with both earning their sixth straight victories. Ristovski knocked off Chris Angelo in No. 3 singles (6-1, 3-6, 6-4), while Tverijonas took down Correa 7-5, 6-2 at No. 4. Tverijonas and senior John Storie won the No. 2 singles match, while Ristovski teamed with freshman Evan Borowski for the No. 3 victory.

The Govs wrap up their three-match swing against Atlantic Sun foes when they travel to Kennesaw State, 2 p.m., Monday, March 11. That match is a make-up for a postponed March 1 match.
