CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Austin Peay State University men's tennis team takes on Kennesaw State, 2 p.m. (ET), Friday, at Fair Oaks Tennis Center in Marietta, Ga.

The Govs are riding a three-match win streak into this meeting with the Owls, having dispatched Chattanooga, Abilene Christian and Southern Indiana in recent weeks. Sophomore Aleksas Tverijonas ran his season record to 5-0 last week, dispatching Southern Indiana's Santiago Lopez 7-5, 6-3.

Kennesaw State enters the weekend at 2-4, on a two-match losing streak after dropping decisions to UAB and Presbyterian. Freshman Tobi Menhofer, the Owls top player, is 3-3 in No. 1 singles this season, picking up two of his victories against Alabama A&M and Alabama State, both leading to team wins for Kennesaw State.

Austin Peay last faced Kennesaw State in 2011, when the Govs knocked off the Owls at the Austin Peay Tennis Center, 6-1. Junior Jasmin Ademovic and senior Sean Bailey both picked up singles victories in that contest.
