CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Nearly 2,800 people attended Austin Peay's first Fall Sports Fan Day, Sunday, at the Dunn Center.

Governors Club president David Loos presented the Lady Govs soccer team, followed by Govs and Lady Govs cross country. The reigning OVC Champion Lady Govs volleyball team and the Govs football team wrapped up the introductions.

Fans took in a pair of exciting performances by Austin Peay's cheer and pom squads before joining the teams on the floor for free schedule posters and autographs.

Lady Govs soccer is set to open their home schedule with a 7 p.m., Tuesday contest against Union. The football Govs' season opener is coming up, 6 p.m., Saturday, at Cincinnati, while Lady Govs volleyball returns to action at Middle Tennessee, Friday and Saturday, in their season's second tournament.
