College: Moved into starting role in 2009 at weakside safety in Govs 4-2-5 scheme... strong, athletic performer with linebacker size and defensive back speed... was second on team overall with 88 tackles, including a team-best 46 solo stops... led the team with 32 tackles against the pass... had seven games with eight or more tackles... twice made more than 10 stops... had 12 tackles against Tennessee State and 10 tackles in the season-finale at UT Martin... forced a team-best two fumbles, including a touchdown-stopping fumble against Eastern Kentucky on the APSU 1-yard line... one of Govs top special teams performers... made eight special teams tackles, four on kickoffs and four on punts...as a freshman, had 17 tackles... played considerably as a free safety...
